WILL THE COLOR COATS RUB OFF ONTO CLOTHING?

No! Leather Magic!™ color coats are formulated to replicate the original finish. They are just as strong and react exactly the same as the original finish. These Color Coats are formulated to actually perform better and be stronger than the original finish. We know that many individuals have had bad experiences with this issue using other product, but this is why we have devoted our focus on answering the question: will the color rub off onto anything.

Once completely cured (within 48 hours) these color coats are tougher than the original finish and will not be easily removed. Even if the finish has gotten wet from water or other liquids, the color will remain fixed and permanent.

After the curing period, if you sit on the new finish with white slacks, the clothing will still be white when you stand. Normal cleaning, conditioning and protection product may be applied just as was done with the original finish. Check out our leather care products here.
