How to Repair a Leather Jacket
Step 1: Clean the Damaged Area
Use the included cleaning swab to remove dirt, oils, and other surface contaminants from the area being repaired. Allow the surface to dry.
Step 2: Prepare the Repair
For tears and larger holes, position the subpatch or insert material as directed in the instructions. Use the leather adhesive where required to secure the repair materials.
Step 3: Apply the Repair Compound
Apply the black leather repair compound with the palette knife. Build up the damaged area carefully, following the kit instructions.
Step 4: Smooth and Sand
Once the repair compound has dried, sand the area as directed to smooth the surface and improve its appearance.

What Types of Leather Does This Kit Work On?
